Our Story
About Rooted In NYC
By New Yorkers, for New Yorkers. We're building a community-first platform that connects residents, commuters, creators, and businesses — no algorithms, just real neighborhood connection.
Our Mission
The culture of NYC is shaped by the people who create it
Rooted In NYC exists to strengthen the everyday connections that make this city feel like home — between neighbors, local businesses, creators, and the events and spaces that bring us together. We're here to make discovering, supporting, and showing up for your community effortless.
What We Believe
Community over algorithms
No feeds deciding what you see. Just real people, real places, and real opportunities to connect — curated by New Yorkers, for New Yorkers.
