The beta program is an early-access version of Rooted In NYC where members can explore challenges, events, and local initiatives while helping shape the platform. Participants earn points, unlock perks, and activate real-world impact—while getting ahead of the game before the platform takes it full form.

Programs look like challenges, local activations, and citywide events that blend health & wellness, culture, learning, and community engagement in fun, rewarding ways.

You need to be at least 18 years old to participate, however, we encourage users to modify challenges that are outside of their comfort zones.

You earn rewards by completing challenges, attending activations, and participating in chats and forums in-platform.

Rewards can be redeemed with participating local businesses, event partners, and community programs that support and give back to NYC.
